About Company
Champawati Hydropower Limited (CHPL) is a power sector development company having the distinction setting up of its first small hydropower project named “Chepe A Hydropower Project (Chepe A HPP)” in Chepe River which boarders Gorkha and Lamjung Districts. The company was established in 2010.
CHPL has set sights on achieving operational power generation capacity of 7 MW by July 2023. This would go for more power development once the Company forays into development of medium hydropower projects.
